This idea came from a female lecture who is eager to get married. When I thought about how to represent this idea, firstly I am thinking the relationship of couple as rely on each other.

So I carved those two figure, when I take one away, it would fall down together. 

This also reminded me of a chinese character "REN" that means people or human being or could represent anyone, or a group of people. In some sense, we, chinese, also understand this character as the whole nation consist by men and women, no one is dispensable.
